Might the Holy Spirit be leading you to become a member of Christ Community Church in the near future? Or, might you just be interested to get to know our Lead Pastor a little better, along with some other folks in the congregation?
Either way, Pastor Tim will be leading a New Member’s Class during the Sunday school hour (9 to 10:00 a.m.) beginning Sunday, March 19. Come learn about who we are and what we’re seeking to accomplish together as a church family in the Myerstown-Lebanon County area.
And—yes—we get it: You’re a member of the body of Christ by faith, so what’s up with this thing called church membership? Well, as a non-profit organization in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Christ Community Church is required to delineate who the current members are, how membership can begin, and how it can end. That’s because the state allows only official members to transact legal business on behalf of the organization. So, there’s that.
But our main goal in this class will be to talk about our history, identity, mission, and vision in a casual, interactive atmosphere. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Pastor Tim.
