What to Expect

Welcome!

We know attending a new church for the first time can be a bit intimidating, especially if you don’t know what to expect. We desire to make your time at Christ Community Church a positive and meaningful experience. If you choose to be our guest on a Sunday morning, here are some things you might find helpful to know before arriving.

The Worship

Hope and joy are the hallmarks of our gatherings. A typical worship service will last about 75 minutes. We sing a mix of traditional hymns and newer, theologically rich praise songs with light instrumentation. We also spend some time listening to the Scriptures being read, and reciting some of them responsively as printed in the bulletin and projected onto the screen. Holy Communion is served seven times a year.

The Word

You’ll also hear a message that seeks to be faithful to Scripture and relevant to our daily lives. We trust you’ll also find a variety of good Bible ministries for children, students, and adults. Childcare is also provided, and we continue to expand our ministries as God grows our congregation. All are welcome, and those with a “pioneering spirit” are encouraged to join the adventure and help us extend our reach.

The Wardrobe

No one at Christ Community Church is fixated on clothing. Some people wear jeans, and others are more formal, but most are somewhere in between. “Business casual” might be a good way to describe it. The common thread is Jesus Christ, so come as you are! Then plan to hang around after the worship service to fellowship and meet new people.

Thank You!
