The Ministry Council has retained Pat Strain as our new part-time Visitation Minister at Christ Community Church. She will help coordinate our visitation efforts in conjunction with Pastor Tim and the Church Family Care Ministry, led by Karen Nixon and Faye Hipkiss.
Pat was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley. She moved to Lebanon County after returning from serving a year and a half as a missionary in Japan. She retired at the end of last year after serving 33 years at the Global Ministries Community of the E.C. Church, most recently as the Deputy Director of Missionary Care. She is a graduate of Evangelical Seminary and an ordained deaconess in the E.C. Church.
Pat enjoys meeting new people and hearing their stories, as well as scrapbooking, gardening, and reading. She is a dark chocolate aficionado and enjoys a good cup of tea. Currently Pat continues to serve as an advisory member of the GMC board, and volunteers at the local library.
